Hi-Tea with dean listers..

Thanks to our alumni Mr. Erwin Tu'ipolotu whom a National Rugby player and PTD invited to give some motivation speech bbut later happen to teach and performed Hakka as wished by Datuk Pengarah.

The All Blacks' Tradition

At first watching the guys from Hang Nadim and Kasturi's performance... i'm so excited... a bit gross... but its a new thing... really so cool for a group of guys doing hakka in front of every girls residents area.

Later... i met the person who becomes the leader or the one who responsible to start hakka traditions in UiTM Lendu. he is a cool guy. the rugby player and a PTD also... he comes to our Hi-Tea for Dean List students events... so i've made some study and the results is...

• The Haka is a Māori traditional dance performed immediately prior to matches.
• For ages... they do this dance for the fighting spirits of their warriors...
• Now the New Zealand rugby team made it as their tradition in every match they were into.
• There were two types of Hakka which is ka-mate and kapaopango.

Piranha

Introduction

Piranha which also known as the caribes are the most notorious living aquatic animals in South America. It categorized as omnivorous freshwater fish that live in rivers and lakes in South Africa. The size is only a foot long but it is the most ferocious or fierce fish species in the world and the acts as predator in nature. Piranha was considered as the cruelest fish because it differs from sharks and barracuda which only attack victims that were smaller than their selves. There are approximately 20 species of piranha found living in the Amazon River, with only four or five of them posing any danger. Most piranha species are quite harmless and docile, but the ones with the nasty reputation for aggressive behavior are the red-bellied piranha, Pygocentrus nattereri.

Piranha in other hand habitually will attack victims either smaller or bigger than their selves. When schools of piranha are in a feeding frenzy the water appears to boil and churn red with blood. They attack with such ferocity that they strip an animal of its flesh within a matter of minutes, even taking bites out of each other in the process. Piranhas are world-famous for their razor-sharp teeth. Native peoples of South America will catch the piranha and use their teeth to make tools and weapons. Even the fishermen who catch these vicious little predators have to be careful when the fish is out of water. A single piranha out of water is still dangerous enough to take off the flesh, or the odd toe, from an unwary fisherman.

Piranhas belong to the Characin Characidae family or the Serrasalmidae sub family of fish which also include the Pacus fish that is herbivorous by nature but still has a good set of gnashes. Research has shown that the Piranha will also eat vegetation and does not just rely on meat for its staple diet. Research has shown that in fact it’s only a small number of species like the Red-Bellies that are actually meat eaters, the majority of Piranha fish are vegetarians otherwise called herbivores.

If you only place two Piranhas in a tank together they will fight for territory and the weakest fish will be killed, but when four are kept this does not happen and they live together. It must be remembered that these fish are naturally aggressive and if say odd numbers of three or five or seven fish are put together then they will gang up and attack the odd ones out of the pack. In the wild, piranhas from the genus Pygocentrus live in large shoals, roaming the South American rivers. This situation is impossible to imitate in captivity, but even in a tank they will show some traits of their wild behavior, provided they are kept under proper conditions.

First of all, most shoals will have one or more dominant animals, depending on the size of the shoal: the leader(s) of the pack. Even though the fish will often hang out together, in crucial moments the dominant fish will show its might. In most cases, the alpha-animal will be the largest, most aggressive and bold specimen, first at feeding sessions and owning and guarding the best spots in the tank (the spot with the best view, the best place during feeding time, in the current from a powerhead). Any unwilling 'servants' will be corrected instantly by aggressive behavior, chasing or even inflicting wounds.

Piranha in the Ecosystem

The habitat of piranha was called Whitewater Rivers. A whitewater river carries loamy water with a great deal of fine particles in suspension thus giving it a milky yellow-gray appearance. Some Piranhas live in the poor blackwater rivers and some in clearwater rivers. But in these cases they live near where two rivers meet and white- or blackwater mix with whitewater. In general Piranhas are amazingly tolerant to different water conditions. They live in rivers with a temperature of 24 - 30 degrees C (75 - 86 F).

Why are there only Piranhas in the South America? The most likely reason is a phenomenon called the Pororoca. This happening occurs only in the South American rivers due to their relief conditions. 3500 km from the mouth, the Amazon flows at an altitude of just 150 m. compare this with the Congo that lies at an altitude of 400 m. The result is that the tide rises into the rivers, several hundred km. The masses of freshwater offer an increasing resistance to the saltwater until the compressed mass 'explode'. Thunderously the waters rise to a 6 to 8 meters high giant wave that rolls towards the ocean.

The Pororoca kills a large number of animals and leaves the waters filled with cadavers. Now the Piranhas come into the picture as the only fast-acting underwater health squad available. Without the Piranhas the amount of contagious diseases would be tremendous. Of course Piranhas attack living creatures as well. When they are hungry, as for example if they have been trapped in a drying lake. Like hyenas, Piranhas sometimes hunt on their own and like them they not only feed on dead animals, but attack everything that is sick, weak or unfit to live long.

Piranha Species

These are the big group species of piranha. Under each group there is a lot of species that most of it hasn’t been fully recognized under a proper research.

• Genus Catoprion (Wimpel Piranha's)
• Pacu's
• Silver Dollars

Conclusion

As a conclusion, as we know that piranha lives in the different habitat and ecosystem than the habitat we have in Malaysia. Nowadays, peoples bring piranha in Malaysia as pets and for businesses purposes. As for example, in Kg. Tehel, Jasin Melaka, a family has work out for the piranha businesses. They sold it to peoples who eat piranha this is because the piranha has been mixed with black pomfret therefore it will be bigger than usual piranha and the meat are much softer than usual piranha in South America. The piranha was feed with chicken’s meat twice a day.

According to the owner of the fish ponds, piranha less favorable to come out to the water surface. They prefer to live deep inside of the ponds or the man made lake. This shows that piranha loves darker places and deeper water differs than other fish species. They also lives are the river with a little bit muddy area which suit with the Amazon’s rivers. Therefore, piranha is not suitable to be brought to Malaysia as an alien species. Which means it doesn’t fit with the habitat in Malaysia.

Dulu smua org sibuk berebut-rebut nak bangunkan negara... bwat pembangunan bertingkat-tingkat... berlumba-lumba lah semua pemimpin di dunia ni nak wat bangunan yang paling tggi... landmark lah kunun... tapi smua lupa... ttg alam sekitar yg telah kita sakiti... aku pon x terkecuali... antara kemusnahan aku penah bwat... x payah crik yg besar... paling besar telah kita semua bwat tp x sedar kita memusnahkan bumi ialah dengan membuang sampah... merata plak tuh... semua kata dan peringatan yg dah diberi oleh segolongan kcil org dlm dunia ni yg amat mencintai bumi dan haiwan... telah kita abaikan... amaran pown dorg dah bagi... sejak puluhan tahun dulu lagi... tp kita wat x dengar je... suara dan keluhan dorg tu mcm suara kuman je kita bwat... wlau dorg berkumpul dan merusuh mogok dan sebagainye... tapi kita x dengar jugak... suara kuman la katekan,,, *kuman ade suara ke*

Yang peliknye... kenapa la sikit sangat golongan terpelajar dan yang memperjuangkan hak bumi yg tersembunyi atau hak yg disembunyikan oleh org2 lain ni... (termasuk la aku) so camner la kitorg yg lain ni nak dengar?? sbb pejuang ni sikit sangat ke?? then camner jugak lah dorg ni nak survive dan didengari dalam dunia yg kejam ni... hehe... think again... dunia yg kejam ke org dalam dunia ni yang kejam??

Sekarang bila bumi kita ni dah makin sakittt...

Semua mengglabah ayam... baru sedar ape yang patut kita bwat dari dulu lagi -pembangunan bersama-sama alam sekitar... sekarang baru la nak wat bangunan serap gegaran... bangunan guna kuasa solar... kuasa angin... kuasa motor... tak kuasa aku...

Sekarang baru nak sebarkan kepentingan flora n fauna pada pelajar sekolah... dulu kelab sains dan alam sekitar... bape org je ahlinye?? jawab2...!!

KENAPA BARU SEKARANG??!!!

Setelah berlaku pelbagai bencana...setelah banyak struktur bentuk muka bumi hancur dan berubah bentuk...setelah tanah tidak lagi membalas jasa kepada manusia yang menabur bakti kepadanya...dan tinggallah kebuluran... setelah lautan menghamburkan kemarahannya kepada kita...setelah cuaca cuba mengingatkan kita dengan perubahan yang drastik sehingga kita x dapat menjangkanya... sehingga berlaku ape yg dipanggil climate change... setelah banyak korban nyawa bumi kita telah telan... beribu-ribu... mungkin berjuta jumlahnye di seluruh dunia...

APA SALAH BUMI????!!!

Inikah balasan yg kita bagi kepada bumi setelah banyak yg dia bagi kat kita??

come on... jgn nafikan... bumi banyak berjasa pada kita... kita hanya menumpang... sedar ke whai penumpang2 smua?? lihat lah sekeliling kita... ape yg kita pegang... ape yg kita pakai... ape yg kita makan... ape yg kita naik... dan dimana kita tinggal... semua dari hasil bumi... kita hanya menumpang pada tanah tuk membina penempatan yang juga kita pinjam dari batu, kayu dan tanah bumi ini... kita cuma meletakkan hakmilik ke atas ape yg kita x berhak pon memilikinya... bumi bagi kita tempat tinggal.. air dan makanan...kehidupan dan ilmu... ketamadunan malah kemodenan yang kita kecapi juga di atas bumi Allah ini....pasti datang dari setiap kajian dan pembelajaran kecil nenek moyang kita tentang hasil bumi ini...

Mustahil klau kita nak cakap ape yg mencipta dunia kemodenan kita ni bukan dari hasil bumi Allah yang kita pijak ini... lihatlah sekeliling... ape yg menjadi teras dalam setiap benda di sekeliling kita... tanah... air... kayu... batu... minyak... gas... cahaya... angin...udara... malah setiap molekul juga kita perolehi dari bumi jugak...

Berterima kasih lah kepada bumi....

Berilah bumi kita perhatian yang sepatutnya dia terima... Bisakah kita hidup tanpa bumi ini?

tiada lagi planet lain yang mahu menerima kita selain bumi... tapi kita musnahkan dan sakitkan dia... jagalah bumi...untuk masa depan kita dan bumi...

Kisahnye,,, aku teringat dengan quote "RULES ARE MADE TO BE BROKEN" starting from seeing this guy kat dalam komuter. Paling penting nak mention, dia duk dalam gerabak tengah yang dah sah2 spesel tuk wanita je... "WANITA SAHAJA SEPANJANG MASA..." Terpampang logo tu kat seluruh pelosok gerabak dan jugak kat ruang menunggu wanita tue...

X pham bila masih ade yg wat muke slumberr derk je masuk siap duduk..Esp klau yg bleh tido lg tue... X rasa bersalah lgsung pown...

Pada awalnye... Memang aku pon perasan yang ade sikitt kekurangan pada sistem ni.. Masa tu percubaan lagi.. Antaranye...:

• Logo tu x brape effective... sebab org x prasan pon yang ada gambar pompuan kt logo tu... apasal dorg tak guna je logo mcm kt toilet tu... so that org akan lebih aware lg... Easy to understand and international kn logo tue... even kalau nak kreatip cket... bleh la wat gambar yang menarik... tapi jgn lari dari motif yang sama cam logo kat toilet tu...
• Tempat menunggu wanita plak... hanya ditanda dengan tiang yang di cat warna pink... pastu letak banner yang nmpak macam eklan je... banner tu pown letak kat pagar je... mcm ne org nak prasan... ade jugak stesen yg letak kt tiang... agak effective jugak...
• Tulisan tu pown satu masalh... dah la melilit kat logo... so org payah nak baca dalam keadaan kelam kabut nak naik tren... ms kt pintu tue... mesti la org nak kne baca dengan kadar pantas... tapi klau dah susah nak baca... nak wat cmne....

Orang kate hidup kita ni kena ade planning.. baru lerr idop teratur... semua yang diimpikan boleh dicapai... klau usaha sungguh2 le...

Ape barang plan2 ni... slaloo dulu nk kuar hang out ngan member ms blaja... mmg x bleh plan.. asal plan je ade je hal laen muncul... x pon plan mesti x menjadi... loqlaq btoi...

Slaloonye la... kan... org yang heboh duk ikut plan ni... mesti kalut cket... pantang plan dia lari... x jadi.. or terganggu gugat secara x sengaja... so dia mula la mengglabah ayam... dorg ni slaloo berhati2 dalam idop dorg.. Always Play Safe u know...? the best plan for these people is avoiding any risk.. is it true? ntah ler... nak tau g la wat survey sendrik... hehehe...

Lepas tue... masuk bab skolah plak... menurut ceritera org tua2... yakni parents aku le... ktorg dlu ms kt sabah duk estate... then xde skolah mlyu t'dekat yg provide tadika or pra skolah... jd secara kbetulan... aku pown dihantar ke sek jenis keb cina... wlaupon jauh... tp pling dekat... haha... sape duk Sabah tau la...

aku duk kat Apas Balung... tapi sek kat Tawau... S.R.J/K (c) Hing Hwa... ade yg kenal aku ke ms sek rendah dlu?? klau ade kawan2 lame bc bog ni... add2 le aku kt fb ye... hehe... sempat lagie.. haha...

Sambung plak sek menengah... aku asalnye x layak msuk sek lain slain sek Mantin N3... sbab aku sek cina... nak mintak asrama penoh... result UPSR aku plak yg x penoh... hehe... sek agama... tulis n baca jawi pon x tau... mne layak... so, 4 d' 1st two years... aku sek mantin... lepas tue aku masok S.M.K. Puteri yg di anggap agak b'prestij jgk la kt sremban tu... tp aku rs x de la sgt pon... hehe... sek tu dapat terima aku pon secara kbetulan... k.long cikgu kt ctu... nak d jadikan cter... ckgu2 ni ade la kuota ke hape... bwk famly dorg blaja kt ctu... mak abah plak ms aku nak PMR tue... dorg dpt g haji... so aku duk asrama le... sape nak jage??? hehe...kebetulan je... huhu...

haishhh,... banyak tol kebetulan.. like i said before... everything that i achieved now... almost all were accidentally achieved... anyway i'm very thankful... Alhamdulillah... Allah Maha Pemurah....

So when we think again... btol ke kena plan?

will it be very necessary? or will it be very important in order to choose our path of life? for me... Future R Unpredictable... Just face it... with open HEART...

The multi-functional blog.....

Well as for me... This blog just for fun... For now maybe (*,*)

At first... I'm not really interested in blog, but later on when i do get bored sometimes... I found out that I'm able to write... That's remind me of this blog, created so long ago... For Prof. Shaaban actually... So now here we go... I'm just trying to write... ;p

On second thought... I'm very thankful to Prof. Shaaban as for forcing us to create this blog.

Whenever thinking of he.. I felt a bit ashamed... Because he is very far older from my mom... Indeed, he knows a lot of technologies and always get updated compared to me... Well as someone with his age, usually they are a bit slower than me in terms of technology. But not for my Prof. I'm glad he did teach me back when I'm studying...

Honestly... we all were very stressed out when we knows that he will teach us, but now I realized that he is a great teacher.
